Step 01: Lead Magnet Creation
The first step is to create a DESTINATION for the ads. We don’t recommend driving them to your home page (it isn’t the most effective strategy). We need to drive them to a landing page with a lead magnet. A lead magnet is a strategy to capture a users information so we can market to them. For our cannabis clients a lead magnet that usually works is to offer a discount in exchange for their email address and phone number. (i.e. “Enter your email address to get a 20% off coupon.”)
Step 02: Ad Campaign Setup
After creating your lead magnet we set up the campaigns to drive users to it (i.e. the coupon page). Typically we spend about a week to write your ads and setup the ad campaigns in the advertising platform (Facebook, Google, Twitter etc.). This usually includes the creation of 10-15 different ads with 5-10 different target audiences.
Step 03: Campaign Testing Phase
First we set up the campaigns in TEST phase. Which takes roughly 6 days for the ad algorithm A.I. to test the ads. The platforms usually recommend a minimum test budget of $5/day per ad per day.
Step 04: Full Ad Buy Phase
Then after the testing phase, we divert the bigger budget toward the ads that perform best. Most of our clients start seeing results in the data within a couple weeks. But, sometimes it takes longer to figure out which ads and which audiences work best for the platform and client.
Step 05: Monthly Campaign Management and Ad Modifications
The most effective way to run an ad campaign is to monitor it and adjust it over time. We manage your campaign each month and adjust audiences and ad copy to maximize effectiveness over time. Each week we will send you an email report to outline the modifications we have made to your campaign and current performance of your ads.
- Lead Magnet Setup $400 – 500
Create the lead magnet page on your website. (For example we will create a lead form that offers a discount coupon to capture potential customers from our ad campaign.)
- Campaign Setup Fee $400 – 500 (per channel)
$500 for the first channel (example Google) and then $400 for each additional channel (example Facebook $400 and Twitter $400 etc.).
- Campaign Testing Phase $300 (per channel)
For example, let's say we are testing 10 ads. $5 per ad per day per channel for 6 days, which equals $300 per channel for ad testing. (OCW does not take a portion of the ad buy money as part of our fee. Your entire budget is spent on the ad testing.)
- Monthly Campaign Management and Ad Modifications 25% of the ad buy
We will monitor your campaigns and make ongoing adjustments to maintain and improve performance. OCW charges 25% of the ad buy. For example, if you spend $1000 per month, our fee will be $250 and $750 of the budget will go toward buying the ad space on the ad channel (i.e. Google or Twitter etc.)
Minimum 2 month commitment. No Refunds. The money is spent in the creation of the lead magnet and campaign setup. The ad platforms (Google, Twitter, Facebook etc.) do not offer refunds for the ad buy. We are experts in online advertising and do our best to produce quality results for our clients.
